Restaurant Frankenstube in Wurzburg

What a successful evening in the Frankenstube ? Five stars are almost not enough for this. The dishes were delicious and the menu didn't promise too much. The service was just great ... please keep going. At the end there was an espresso and a small dessert ... and rounded off the evening. We will definitely come again ?

Quiet, comfortable restaurant inside the Dorint Hotel. The excellent quality of the food was only outdone by the incredibly attentive staff. Filet was a fine cut of beef, cooked and served perfectly. Burger was delicious, and filling. Great collection of regional favorites, along with a nice selection of steaks and fish.

Delicious Franconian food in a beautiful traditional ambiance! Gladly again!

We had a very nice evening. The food was yummy, the cocktails nice and the service was very friendly.

Delicious food for a reasonable price. Small restaurant with Franconian cordial staff matching the name. The cream brulee was not my case here, but the steak got it out again.

The visit left me with a mixed feeling. We had reserved a larger table among colleagues and the dishes had to be pre-ordered from the menu. Still, it felt like an eternity. In the meantime there was plenty of bread and butter and the boss apologized that everything was freshly prepared. From my point of view, that doesn't explain why the ovens cheeks came first and the sausages last. The service was friendly and responded to criticism. E.g. Subsequent to the curry rice after you noticed that the explanation that the chickpeas were the filling side was unsatisfactory. To compensate for a steak that was served instead of bloody, contrary to the order, I got a free dessert. For my part, I was satisfied with the Frankenteller. But to be honest, I wouldn't invite business partners to this location.

Surprisingly good food away from the city centre. It located on the ground level of the Novotel. The interior design is a bit old school and rustic German, but well maintained. The menu offers mainly classic German dishes, some with a modern touch, for above than averages prices. Since we had coupons (Schlemmerblock), it was very cheap for us, though. Overall, the food showed some good cooking skills of the chefs and was delicious. The staff was very professional and helpful. Also, the offered free bread with schmaltz was a very nice touch.

Very tasty food with the gourmet block. Good Franconian cuisine. Very nice service.
